These terms apply to all bookings made with Discover Banff Tours. By booking a tour with us, you agree to these terms.
Booking + Payment: full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. Bookings are confirmed by email; please review the details + reply immediately if anything is incorrect.
Cancellations: 24+ hours before tour, full refund. Less than 24 hours, non-refundable; rescheduling to another date within the same season may be possible. No-show, non-refundable. Cancelled by us (weather, mechanical, operational), full refund OR free rebooking.
Weather: tours operate rain or shine. We only cancel for safety (lightning, extreme road conditions, wildfire smoke at unsafe AQI). Guide judgment is final. If we cancel, full refund or free rebooking.
Waivers: certain activities (rafting, helicopter, dogsled, horseback, snowmobile, ice walks) require a signed liability waiver before participation. See /waivers for details.
Medical conditions + pregnancy: disclose at booking. Pregnant guests, guests with heart conditions, and guests under medical care should consult their physician before booking adventure activities.
Personal property: we take reasonable care of belongings but are not responsible for items lost, damaged, or stolen during the trip.
Photography: we may take photos for marketing. Let your guide know if you prefer not to appear.
Force majeure: neither party liable for failure to perform due to events outside reasonable control. We will work in good faith to reschedule or refund.
Governing law: laws of the Province of Alberta + federal laws of Canada. Disputes resolved in Alberta courts.
