Overview

This private tour for two flies south from Canmore past the Three Sisters, over the Spray Reservoir and the high ridges to Marvel Lake and the famous Mount Assiniboine, also known as the “Matterhorn of the Rockies”. The pilot takes you in for a close-up look at the hanging glaciers before heading south to Marvel Pass, where you set down at 7,200 feet, close to Aurora Lake, surrounded by larch trees, small lakes and towering peaks.

This spectacular location offers breathtaking vistas which are perfect for marriage proposals. You can spend up to 20 minutes at this magnificent location before re-boarding for the 15 minute return flight to the Canmore Base.

Where is the meeting point?+
The Heli Pad is located at the Canmore Municipal Heliport in Canmore, 22 kilometers east of Banff. Please allow 30 minutes to drive from Banff to the Heli Pad. The Roam Transit bus also runs from Banff to Canmore (stop 109), a 15 minute walk from the Heliport.
What time should I arrive at the Heliplex?+
You are required to arrive at the Heliplex 20 minutes prior to your scheduled flight time.
How many people are in the helicopter?+
This flight is a private tour for two people. If you would like guests to join you on this private tour for two, additional seats are available up to a maximum of four people per flight.
What should I wear?+
Please wear warm clothing with no loose articles. Zips, ties and belts on clothing must be secured. If booking this tour in the winter please come suitably dressed as you will be landing in deep snow at high elevation.
What if the weather is bad and my flight is cancelled?+
Tours depend on weather conditions and must be confirmed the morning of the flight. In this situation we can reschedule or refund your booking.
What is the cancellation policy?+
There is a 24 hour cancellation policy, which allows you to change, cancel, or refund your booking up to 24 hours prior to your tour (or up to 7 days prior for group bookings).
