How long is the tour?+
Tours range from 25, 35, and 45 minutes in length. Please select your preferred flight time and length during the booking process.
What does the tour include?+
Your choice of a scenic helicopter flight with unparalleled views over mountain peaks, alpine meadows, glaciers and pristine lakes.
Where is the meeting point?+
The Heli Pad is located at the Canmore Municipal Heliport in Canmore, 22 kilometers east of Banff. Please allow 30 minutes to drive from Banff to the Heli Pad. The Roam Transit bus also runs from Banff to Canmore (stop 109), a 15 minute walk from the Heliport.
What time should I arrive at the Heliplex?+
You are required to arrive at the Heliplex 20 minutes prior to your scheduled flight time.
How many people are in the helicopter?+
This depends on the type of helicopter available, it is up to five people plus the pilot so that everyone can sit by a window during your flight.
What should I wear?+
Please wear warm clothing with no loose articles. Zips, ties and belts on clothing must be secured.
Can I take my baby?+
Children are welcome on this experience. Children aged 6–12 years receive 50% off the regular adult fare, while infants and children aged 0–5 years travel free of charge. To qualify for child pricing, each child must be accompanied by two paying adults. For safety reasons, children aged 2 years and under must sit on the lap of a parent or guardian during the helicopter flight.
What if the weather is bad and my flight is cancelled?+
Tours depend on weather conditions and must be confirmed the morning of the flight. In this situation we can reschedule or refund your booking.
What is the cancellation policy?+
There is a 48 hour cancellation policy, which allows you to change, cancel, or refund your booking up to 48 hours prior to your tour (or up to 7 days prior for group bookings).
Should I tip my guide?+
Tips are not expected, but are certainly appreciated. If you think your guide did a wonderful job and would like to indicate that with a tip, it will be graciously accepted.

  • To qualify for children’s pricing, children must be accompanied by two paying adults. Children two and under must be seated on the lap of an adult in the helicopter.
  • Prices are based on two passengers, and this tour requires a minimum of two passengers.
