Snowshoeing Tour to Marble Canyon

Your snowshoes crunch on fresh powder as you hike past Marble Canyon's 40-metre deep gorge. This half-day tour is an easy introduction to snowshoeing in Kootenay National Park where you can admire the dramatic colours of Marble Canyon, worn away over centuries by the rushing waters of Tokumn Creek. Search for snowshoe hare, moose and wolf tracks while exploring how the landscape is changing and animals are adapting. After this crisp winter walk, enjoy a uniquely Canadian treat: hot maple taffy poured into snow to make a sweet frozen dessert.

Banff Horseback Rides

Horseback Ride – Sundance Loop 2 Hrs

Ride along the Bow River, past the Cave & Basin hot springs and up to the Windy Knoll viewpoint. This ride is an extension of our 1 Hour Bow River Ride, which rides along the tranquil Bow River – an area home to wildlife in amongst the thick marshes and grassy meadows -  and passes by the historic Cave and Basin, the birth place of Banff National Park. Here craggy rock walls surround pools of bubbling thermal water. The ride then continues with fantastic scenery as you climb up Sulphur Mountain around the Windy Knoll viewpoint before returning to the stables.
