Combo Package; slide down snowy slopes on an inflatable tube and soar to 7,000 feet on an open-air chairlift.

Included: Tubing at Mt Norquay

With 8 lanes of high-speed fun, this tube park is the largest in Alberta. Grab one of the inflatable tubes and ride the magic carpet towing system up to the top of the specially groomed tubing lanes, (so there’s no need to walk uphill after each ride!). Race your friends down the slopes or head to the small sliding area with a kids play area. So there’s even more to do on the tubing hill for your little ones. Located just ten minutes from the town of Banff, Mt. Norquay offers fresh mountain air, legendary views and an easy adrenalin rush!

Included: Banff Sightseeing Chairlift at Mt Norquay

Zip up your coziest layers and ride the open-air chairlift up to 7,000 feet. At the top, you’ll discover cozy mountain meals, endless photo opportunities, and top-of-the-world views that need to be seen to be believed. Enjoy Mt Norquay’s most legendary, panoramic views above the clouds from the interpretive walkway as you keep your eyes out for bighorn sheep, or dine on weekends at the Cliffhouse Bistro.

Activities in this package can be taken on the same day or on different days.

The best parts of tubing for most people include the following:

1

Alberta's largest tube park

The snow tube park has eight large sliding lanes to go down along with your group of friends or your family. There’s also a small sliding area and a kids play area.
2

Magic carpet

The purpose-built magic carpet towing system will pull you to the top of the specially groomed tubing lanes, so there’s no need to walk uphill after each ride.

The best parts of the sightseeing chairlift for most people include the following:

1

Ride to 7,000 feet at Mount Norquay

Visit Mt Norquay for a memorable day of sightseeing, dining and exploring as you take an 8 minute chairlift ride up to 7,000 feet with breathtaking views of Banff and the Bow Valley.
2

Mountain top dining and views

Walk along the viewing deck or warm up inside the famed Cliffhouse Bistro (open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays). Built in the 1950s, this much-loved, former teahouse is known for its mountain ambiance, awe-inspiring views and the photos of Banff’s ski history.
The tube park and chairlift are located at the Mt Norquay Ski Resort on the Mt. Norquay access road, about a ten minute drive from Banff. Alternatively, the resort runs a free shuttle bus during the winter from Banff to to Mt Norquay and the shuttle schedule information will be included in your confirmation email.
The tube park is open between 10:00am – 4pm daily. Night tubing (from 5pm – 9pm) will be available on Friday nights starting December 7th, and then on Friday and Saturday nights starting January 12th until March 16th.
No skill or equipment is required for tubing.
The winter sightseeing chairlift operates from 10am to 3:30pm daily.
The chairlift runs from 10am to 3:30pm. Please refer to your booking confirmation for seasonal operating hours.
The chairlift ride is approximately eight minutes each way.
Unlike an enclosed Gondola, an open-air chairlift allows you to ride up the mountain with your legs dangling freely below you. Each chair is outfitted with a safety bar so you aren’t in any danger of falling out.
Jaw dropping vistas, high-alpine dining in an avalanche proof restaurant, Cliffhouse Bistro, hand carved into the side of the mountain, breathtaking views of Banff and the Bow Valley, a viewing deck, and bighorn sheep. Please note that the Cliffhouse Bistro is open from 11am to 3:30pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (closed Mondays to Thursdays).
Tickets are open dated for the current season, and are non-refundable once purchased.
