Upon arrival in Dunster B.C. you will be greeted by your guide with a vehicle ready for your return journey to Jasper. On this portion of the tour, you will visit Rearguard Falls, famous for being the easternmost waterfall which the salmon ascend during their journey from the Pacific Ocean to their spawning grounds; and Mount Robson, the tallest mountain in the Canadian Rockies at 3954 metres (12,970 feet).

The tour commences at 12pm in Jasper, and is between 5 and 6 hours long, including approximately 2.5 hours aboard the train.
The half-day tour includes transportation from most hotels in Jasper, a 2.5 hour westbound train ride aboard the Via Train from the Jasper Train Station to Dunster, British Columbia, and then a return sightseeing coach ride to Jasper. On the return coach ride you will visit Rearguard Falls, famous for being the easternmost waterfall which the salmon ascend during their journey from the Pacific Ocean to their spawning grounds; and Mount Robson, the tallest mountain in the Canadian Rockies at 3,954 metres (12,970 feet).
The tour will pick up from most hotels in Jasper, and you can select your preferred pick-up location during the booking process.
No commentary is provided on the train, but the return coach journey will include an interpretive guide with information on the historic role of the railway in the Rockies and points of interest.

There is a 48 hour cancellation policy, which allows you to change/cancel or refund your booking up to 48 hours outside your booked tour (up to 7 days for group bookings).
