The Kicking Horse Classic
You will start your trip by enjoying a scenic drive from Banff through Yoho National Park, complete with onboard narration and guide. Upon arrival at our Hydra private put in site, you will meet your river guides and be provided all the necessary gear to keep you warm on the river. WHile enjoying a snack, clients are given detailed safety briefing by our cerified trip leaders to ensure your safety and enjoyment of the day. Then it's time to go rafting!
Once on the water, this unforgettable journey begins calmly and quietly, allowing fafters to familiarize themselves with the raft, their padles and their guides' commands. As the canyon narrows, the rapids of the mighty Kicking Horse begin a whitewater experience that will take each team of rafters through class 4+ rapids, finishing 20km downstream.
You'll enjoy 2.5 - 3 Hours of upper canyon rafting time before heading back to our site to enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch including dessert and cold drinks. Feel free to Browse around our lodge or take in a game of beach volleyball before heading back to Banff.
