Departing from Warner Stables, our cowboys will lead you through the Cave & Basin-the original hot springs-along the Bow River to the BBQ site, located near the Sundance Canyon trail. Try your hand at roping, challenge friends to a game of horseshoes or relax in the picnic area, while our cook prepares your steak to order.

After your meal enjoy a leisurely one-hour trail ride back after your hearty meal where fantastic scenery surrounds as you climb up Sulphur Mountain around the Windy Knoll viewpoint. The ride loops around the marsh, following the Bow River, bringing you back to Warner Stables.  

Itinerary and highlights: Explore Banff National Park as the pioneers did, from horseback.  Gaze upon the Bow Valley from a high vantage point and then follow the Bow River upon your return.
