The grizzly bear is an icon of the wilderness and the focus of our day. Your guide will bring stories of bears, their habits and current health in our region to light while visiting breathtaking stops. The highlight is visiting the world’s largest grizzly bear refuge where the resident “Boo” makes his home. You will ride over the refuge by gondola (mountain top gourmet lunch included) and later see Boo up close on a tour led by his guardians. A full day like this is a must do for every visitor.

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is the home to the worlds largest enclosed and protected grizzly bear habitat and where orphaned bear "Boo" lives and plays. Visitors are given the great opportunity, as part of an interpretive tour, to view a grizzly bear interacting as much as they do in the wild. This fantastic full day tour also takes our guests to the must see signts in Yoho National Park, a place of awe and wonder. The tour includes stops at Emerald Lake and Takakkaw Falls, as well as a gondola ride to dine at Canada's highest resturant with views of the Purcell and Rocky Mountains. With so much packed into this tour it's a favourite of our guiding team and an experience you don't want to miss out on.
